Accessibility Statement
Krish NH Photography
Website: https://www.krishnhphotography.com
Last updated: 22 September 2026
Krish NH Photography is committed to making this website as accessible and inclusive as reasonably possible. I want visitors to be able to explore my photography, understand the services I offer and contact me about photography enquiries regardless of how they access the website.
This accessibility statement explains the steps I take to improve accessibility, the standards I aim to follow, and how you can contact me if you experience a problem.
My approach to accessibility
I aim to make this website accessible in accordance with the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, including the principles of being perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. I review and improve the website as new content, photographs and features are added.
At the time of publication, I have not completed a full independent accessibility audit of the website, so I do not claim that every part of the website currently meets every WCAG 2.2 success criterion.
I will continue to identify and address accessibility issues as far as reasonably practicable.
What I am doing to improve accessibility
I aim to make the website easier to use by:
-
using clear and understandable language;
-
providing meaningful headings and page structure;
-
using descriptive link and button text;
-
ensuring that navigation is usable and consistent;
-
supporting keyboard navigation where reasonably practicable;
-
providing alternative text for images where the image conveys meaningful information;
-
avoiding the use of images as the only means of communicating important information;
-
maintaining sufficient colour contrast where reasonably practicable;
-
designing the website to work across different screen sizes and devices;
-
making forms and contact methods as clear and straightforward as possible;
-
avoiding unnecessary animation or moving content where reasonably practicable;
-
continuing to improve the accessibility of new content and features.
Photography is central to this website, so some content is necessarily visual. I aim to provide appropriate alternative text where an image conveys information beyond decoration. For purely decorative imagery, alternative text may be omitted where this is appropriate for assistive technologies.
Known or possible accessibility limitations
Because this website contains a large amount of photographic and visual content, some areas may not provide an equivalent experience for every visitor.
Potential limitations may include:
-
photographs for which detailed visual descriptions would be impractical or would not add useful information;
-
third-party services or embedded content that KrishNHPhotography does not fully control;
-
changes introduced by third-party platforms, browsers, operating systems or assistive technologies;
-
content or functionality that may not yet have been fully tested with every combination of assistive technology;
-
older content that may not yet meet current accessibility practices.
Where I become aware of an accessibility problem, I will consider how it can reasonably be addressed and prioritise issues that create a significant barrier to accessing the website or my services.
Alternative ways to access information
If you are unable to access information on this website, or you need information in a different format, please contact me.
Where reasonably possible, I can provide information by an alternative method, such as email or another accessible format, or discuss another reasonable way for you to obtain the information you need.
Contacting me about accessibility
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this website, please contact:
Email: contact@krishnhphotography.com
Please tell me:
-
the page or feature you were trying to use;
-
what problem you encountered;
-
the device and browser you were using, if you know;
-
what you were trying to do; and
-
what alternative format or assistance would help.
You do not need to use technical accessibility terminology. A description of the problem in your own words is completely fine.
I will consider accessibility-related feedback and take reasonable steps to address issues where appropriate.
Reasonable adjustments
If you are considering booking photography services with me and you have an accessibility requirement, please let me know.
I will consider reasonable adjustments that may help you access my services, communicate with me or participate in the booking process.
Accessibility needs can vary considerably from person to person, so I encourage you to contact me before booking if there is something specific I can do to make the process easier.
Review of this statement
I will review this accessibility statement periodically and when significant changes are made to the website.
